Sustainability

Our eco-friendly products consist of at least 70% organic or recycled materials, or such material blends. To verify material content, we collect valid certificates from our suppliers. As proof of the organic composition of the apparel products, we only accept GOTS or OCS certificates. For recycled composition, we accept either GRS or RCS certificates.

All the items we sell are free of animal products. A few items from are also PETA-Approved Vegan. If the product carries a PETA-Approved Vegan certificate, it’s mentioned in the product description.

We use water-based inks that are Oeko-Tex™ certified, which means they are safe to print on children’s clothing and reduce environmental waste. These inks provide a high washing colorfast AATCC rating of 4

We use packaging made of post-consumer recycled (PCR) plastics. PCR plastics are made from items people recycle every day, like plastic bags and bottles. As of May 2022, we started to gradually switch from 50% to 90%–100% PCR plastic packaging products. We know there’s still a lot left to do about our packaging footprint, and we’ll keep exploring greener options in the future.

Shipping

Typically only national postal operators (like the US Postal Service or Canada Post) are able to deliver orders to PO Boxes. Some bulkier shipments are too large to be accepted by national postal operators, so we use commercial companies (like FedEx) to deliver these products that cannot deliver to PO Boxes.

We suggest you use a physical address instead of a PO Box address to ensure smooth delivery.

Almost all orders are delivered within the same region they’re fulfilled in. Having fulfillment centers close to our customers is good for everyone. This allows for faster shipping times and lower shipping costs. It also helps with reducing CO₂ emissions produced when transporting orders. Products available in the same region are shipped together whenever possible.

For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no later than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. But no worries! If the carrier lost your package, we will cover the costs of reprinting and shipping a replacement order for you.

If something arrives damaged, send a photo of the damaged goods to support@arcanepearl.com, then we'll gladly send a replacement at no cost to you.

If you entered the wrong address at checkout, you can still change it while we fulfill your order. Once your order is out for delivery, we can’t guarantee the possibility of changing any information. In some cases, the local post can still make the delivery depending on the address error. If they can’t, they’ll send it back to us. Once received, we can confirm the changed address for reshipping the package within 30 days.

Our products are made on demand and production time can take 7-10 business days.  Most of our products ship within 7 business days. Most customers receive their products within 2 weeks of ordering.

Once your order is ready to go, we hand it over to the carrier and send you a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can click on that number to see the latest updates on your shipment’s location via our tracking page. You can also log into your account at The Arcane Pearl to view your shipping status.

There may be cases where the delivery was made, but the package was left in an unexpected location. In these cases, it's a good idea to reach out to the carrier and inquire if any additional details were left by the delivery person. For example: “Left under the table on the back porch."

Returns

You can report problems with an order through your account or by contacting us at support@arcanepearl.com. Be aware that we may require a photo to be submitted to begin a reshipment.

We do not accept returns for buyers remorse or an exchange of design. We will however, do a one time exchange for a change in size, so long as your item is in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. Any claims for misprinted/damaged/defective items must be submitted within 30 days after the product is received. For packages lost in transit, all claims must be submitted no more than 30 days after the estimated delivery date. 

Whenever possible, we donate damaged and returned products to local charities, like the Red Cross, the American Kidney Fund, and Goodwill.
